Before committing to ground programs, know where to look. ABM holds one of the most complete private geoscience data libraries on Morocco — and turns it into exploration targets, permit screening and investment theses.
The dataset
In June 2021, ABM acquired from Morocco’s Ministry of Mines a full set of geological, geochemical and geophysical reports, data and maps covering twenty-two prospective provinces. Typical contents include:
- 1/100,000 and 1/50,000 geological maps
- Multi-element analyses from regular-mesh rock and stream-sediment campaigns
- Airborne geophysics survey results
All data, maps and reports were prepared by qualified consultants from BRPM, USGS, the British Geological Survey, China Géo-Engineering Corporation and the Council for Geoscience (South Africa).
What we do with it
- First-pass prospectivity screening of areas of interest, before you spend on the ground
- Data-driven exploration targeting and permit application support
- Technical data packages for transactions and farm-in negotiations
- Data acquisition advisory — we have guided global miners through purchasing national geoscience data
Access
Sample extracts and a methodology note are available under NDA. Request a sample — tell us your commodity and region of interest, and we will respond within one business day.
Related mandate: geological data acquisition advisory for a confidential global mining company (Morocco, 2021).
